ISRO to launch PSLV-C15 on July 12The preparations for the launch of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C15) are going on full-fledge by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), which was postponed in the past due to a drop in the pressure in the vehicle’s second stage.
The rocket will put in orbit five satellites – Cartosat-2B from India, Alsat from Algeria, and three nano satellites i.e. NLS 6.1 and NLS 6.2 from Canada and Switzerland, along with Studsat.
Cartosat-2B would be launched on July 12 from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh
It should be noted that rocket’s main cargo Cartosat-2B is a remote sensing satellite, which will give boost to the country’s infrastructure and urban planning.
ISRO will launch Cartosat-2B on July 12.
